As I suggested at the end of yesterday’s blog today was a quiet one. A very quiet one.
Ian, Julie and Helen went back to the Gurney malls to shop and look about while Col, Shane & I caught the HoHo bus into Chowrasta Market/Bazaar. The only two photos I have today are of buildings in the UNESCO protected area that are in need of reno’s. Note that the facades are being reinforced by steel frames. I believe this is to preserve the frontages so that the new buildings can incorporate this olde’ world charm.
The title picture today is of a huge 10 acre temple complex near the tram up Penang Hill. If I get more time later I might post a few misc pics from the entire holiday that I haven’t yet posted.
