It is going to be a slow trip into Manila. The Capt has announced our day’s travel plan and we’ll be averaging a slow 11 knots (about 20kph).
After yesterday’s hectic tour of Puerto Princesa I tried to take it easy today to rest my bung leg. It turned out to be not only restful but peaceful too as Shane has a sore throat and can’t speak. So we’re both in the wars at the moment. I have purchased a 24 hour internet pass so I can catch up on the blog but it doesn’t want to play fair. It accepts the texts I post OK but won’t take the pictures. So I spent much of the day trying to figure this problem out. Looking into it I seem to be one of thousands having this problem with WordPress. Anyway I’ll stick with it. Eventually I will get the photos posted so watch back issues of the blog to see these.
Tonight was the 3rd ‘formal night’ in the dining room. Suit & tie expected. Yes, even shoes! Nonetheless it was another spectacular meal after which Shane & I went to the show. Tonight it was a K1W1 named Chris Powley. Let me say if you see his name listed for a show near you then don’t miss it. He has the most wonderful voice. The night concluded with us returning to our room to find an intruder in our room. Shane didn’t mind though. She just sidled up beside him and watched some tv. If I can post the photo’s you’ll see for yourself why we laughed.
