Yep on Tuesday we’re leaving wonderful Penang for a 24 day tour of Northern India. Our top hope is that we see some wild tigers in the National Parks we’re visiting. After that we will be working up to the Taj Mahal.
We’ve spent the last few days making sure we have all we need for the trip. Most of our luggage we’ll leave here till we return. We are ready (we hope) to brave the hot Indian weather. Delhi has consistently hit highs of 40 plus degrees this past week and we’ll be racing the monsoon which is due in at the end of June.
Our first 9 days will be just Shane, myself and our own car & driver. After that we come back to New Delhi to join a 15 day bus tour organised by Webjet. We fly back home to Penang on June 29th via Singapore.
Before I wrap up this short post I’m going to post a series of pictures all taken on the lower floors of our Condo here at Penang’s Times Square. You might remember last week I posted some pictures of kids in Anime costumes. Well at the moment on the 2nd level (I think – I still get lost) They have set up a mock Thai floating village and a Japanese lake scene. Also the statues you see of dinosaurs and superheroes line the ‘kids’ section of the mall where anything for children is sold. There’s always something new to see.

P.S. The last 3 pix are for my gym mates. This gym was unreal. It had a great coffee shop and all the plants you see are live plants. The wall on the left of the 2nd last pic is a waterfall and for a giggle the sign you may not be able to read against the back wall says “Get lean to get laid”. Just saying it like it is.
