We stopped off here on our way from “Gwalior to Khajuraho – 7 hour Roadtrip”. We’ve all heard of the Taj Mahal right? This is the Raja Mahal started in the 16th century.
I tried to cut down the number of pix but there was just too many great shots to cull. We had a guide take us around and explain what we were looking at. Things I have mentioned in previous posts that are in this album are the 4 elephant garage, the 16th century dunny complete with monkeys, Anke who we met the night before.
As you can see there were heaps of steps but we managed them mainly because after all the effort to get to India we weren’t going to miss any of this. Anyway if you’d like to know more I wrote about this in an earlier post.
So here are the pictures. By the way, we’re back in Delhi ready for our next tour and catching up on sleep. Again after we set off I don’t expect too much access to internet so posts may be late.
