Haven’t made a post for some time so I thought I’d make up this one just to keep my hand in.  It’s a short post where I’ll just flick you a gallery showing some of the cars we’ve come across in the USA.

The first 8 photos were taken at differing locations along the way.  Probably the two most interesting (or funniest) are the 3rd and 6th pix.

The third is the famous “Cadillac Ranch”.  The Cadillac Ranch is a public art installation and sculpture in Amarillo, Texas, USA. It was created in 1974 by Chip Lord, Hudson Marquez and Doug Michels, who were a part of the art group Ant Farm. The installation consists of ten Cadillacs buried nose-first in the ground. (source Google.com).

The 8th pic is just plain funny.  Zoom in and check out this guy’s stereo system in the back of his pick-up.  Crazy.

The remainder were taken at the north rim of the Grand Canyon, Nevada.  We were lucky enough while staying in Fredonia to see hundreds of vintage cars driving around at a national rally.  I enjoy seeing nice cars but some of these restorations were simply beautiful works of art.

Please enjoy.

Next post I’ll stick up some photos of our shortened (due to Covid19) stay in Bali.
